Elizabeth (Knowles) Kain Elizabeth (Knowles) Kain, 93, of Vineland, died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Rainbow Center, Pittsgrove Township. Born in Millville, She lived in Alluvium, N.J., for nine years before moving back to the Vineland, Millville areas. She was a graduate of Millville High School in 1935 and a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University School of Nursing in 1939. Elizabeth was a Registered Nurse at Jefferson Hospital for three years before working with her husband, Dr. Thomas Kain in his office in Haddonfield. She enjoyed volunteering her time at Newcomb Hospital in public relations, horseback riding, swimming, and traveling. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her son. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas M. Kain; and a brother, Richard Knowles Jr. Survived by her son, Thomas Richard Lamb of Vineland and many cousins. Funeral services were held on Monday.
