ObituaryElizabeth Jane Ogden-Davis, age 88 of Thornville, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 6, 2005 at the Somerset Health Care Center, Somerset, Ohio. Elizabeth was born June 7, 1917 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Harry H. and Wanda A. (Marshall) Miller. She was a member of the N. Fort Myers United Methodist Church, retired from Ogden Insurance Agency after 32 years of service. She was a 50 year member of Ohio State Grange, a member of Jackson Center Grange in New Lexington, Perry County Grange Deputy and a former member of the TOPS in Thornville and Fort Myers.She is survived by her children Katherine (Henry) Gartner of Heath, Dorothy Ogden Rader (Talbot VanNess) of Cape Coral, Florida; April Ogden Fleck of San Diego, California; Joseph B. (Diane) Ogden of New Lexington, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband of 45 years Byron J. Ogden in 1980, second husband Maxwell Davis in 1998, brothers Harry M. Miller, James W. Miller, and Robert A. Miller and sisters Mary Alice Pepple and Irene Frank.Visitation will be Wednesday, November 9, 2005 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 PM at the Boring-Sheridan Funeral Home, 56 South Main Street, Thornville.A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 2 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Debbie Ketcham officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thornville.Memorial contributions may be given to the Thornville United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 253, Thornville, Ohio 43076.
