DAN A. WILLIAMS, 82Williams Service Center WINTER HAVEN - Dan A. Williams, born August 11, 1928 in McRae, GA, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 due to Alzheimer's. Dan came to Winter Haven from Austell, GA, in 1973. He was a US Navy veteran and the owner of Williams Service Center in Winter Haven, FL for 30 years. Dan is preceded in death by his wife Sara E. Williams. He is survived by his sons: Danny Williams, Jr. of Auburndale, FL and Chester Ray Williams of Winter Haven, FL; brother H.C. Williams of Greenville, SC; sisters: Katie Mae Brock of Columbus, GA and Willie Mae Johnson of Green-ville, SC; half brother Roy Newman, half sister Foy Gordon, both of Columbus, GA; grandchildren: Emily Williams Pruitt and Trey Williams; and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Friday, April 8, 2011 from 5-7:00pm at Steele's Family Funeral Services Chapel, Winter Haven, FL. Service will follow Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00am graveside at Lakeside Memorial Park, Winter Haven, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Hospice.
