Carolyn McSwain Johnson, of Panama City, Fla., passed this life on Nov. 15, 2013. Public visitation will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at 3 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 4 p.m., at Forest Park United Methodist Church at 1401 West 23rd Street in Panama City. Her husband, Tommy; her son, Jeffrey; her daughter, Maelinda; and her grandson, Kristian, survive Carolyn. Her sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Van Foster of Crestview; her brother and sister-in-law Bill and Lucille McSwain, of Fort Walton Beach; and her sister-in-law Juanita McSwain of Crestview, also survive Carolyn. Additionally, Carolyn had many nieces, nephews, and cousins from throughout the nation including Florida, Alabama, California, Arizona, and Virginia. Carolyn was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church for over forty-five years as well as a long-time member of the Panama City Garden Club. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Covenant Hospice of Panama City or Forest Park United Methodist Church.
