Carol MacCrea Williams February 23, 2011 Carol MacCrea Williams, 85, passed away peacefully at Crouse Hospital. Carol was a lifelong resident of Syracuse, most recently living in Fayetteville. She received her master's degree in education from Syracuse University and was a home economics teacher for 19 years in the Syracuse City School District. She was an active member of Rockefeller United Methodist Church and a volunteer for numerous church functions. Carol is survived by her husband of 63 years, William; two sons, David (Marilee) and John (Emily); a daughter, Patricia (Philip) Charlebois; and a sister, Lois (Richard) Daubenspeck of Virginia. She adored her three grandchildren, Erin, Patrick and Nathan, and new great-grandson, Bradley. She was aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be 1 p.m. April 16, 2011, at Rockefeller United Methodist Church. The family will greet friends following the service.
