OWEN, BETTY COX, 91, of Mt. Washington, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Audubon Hospital. She was a member of the Quilting Bees sewing Club, WMU and also a lifetime member of Bethany Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Owen. Mrs. Owen is survived by one daughter, Vicki Grigsby, (Lonnie); two sons, Bill Owen and Denny Owen (Patty); and one sister, Dorothy Cox. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services for Mrs. Owen will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at McFarland-Troutman-Proffit Funeral Home. Pastor Charles Gruber will be officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 8 2008 from 4-8 p.m. and also Wednesday from 9 a.m. until time of service. Memorial gifts can be made to Bethany Baptist Church.
