GOFFSTOWN - Beatrice C. Levesque, 86, of Goffstown, passed away peacefully in her sleep under the loving care of Community Hospice House, Merrimack, on Nov. 6, 2013. Born in Manchester, the daughter of the late Elphege and Delvina "Della" (Dextras) Fontaine, Bea was raised in Pinardville, attended schools in Goffstown, graduating in the class of 1944. She attended beautician school after high school. In 1948, she and Alfred (Fred) J. Levesque were married, and began raising a family. She later worked as a waitress at the Chateau Restaurant, Kitty Hawk Restaurant at Grenier Field, and later at several industries in Manchester, among them Manchester Hosiery and Carol Cable. She also enjoyed many evenings of bingo with her best friend Jeannette Wozniak, and spending time helping raise her granddaughter, Stacy, and taking care of her mother, Della. After she and Fred retired in 1982, they spent many enjoyable summers with family and friends at the Hampton Beach Trailer Park, and winters at their golf community in Brooksville, Fla. After Fred's passing in 2009 after 60 years of marriage, Bea resided at their condo at Timberwood in Goffstown, before spending her final two years enjoying a great quality of life at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. Bea is survived by her daughter, Denise Harnden and husband, Stuart, of Bedford; two sons Paul Levesque and wife, Joanne, of Goffstown, and Charles Levesque and wife, Noreen Kilbride, of Antrim; five grandchildren, Stacy Keenan and husband, Scott, of Hillsborough, Ryan Levesque and wife, Tylene, of Texas, Allison Levesque of Westbrook, Maine, Galen Kilbride of Antrim, and Benjamin Kilbride of Antrim; her two great-grandchildren, Brooke Harnden of Goffstown and Henry Levesque of Texas; her brother, Paul Fontaine of Carrolton, Ga., extended family and friends. Bea was predeceased by her sister Lucille Worthen, brother Gerald Fontaine, and grandson James Harnden. . services: A funeral Mass will be held at St. Raphael Church, 103 Walker St., Manchester, on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow immediately at the N.H. State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bea's memory to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, 03054, or to St. Raphael Parish.
