Annie Bell Glenn FIELDSBORO - Annie Bell Glenn, 83, of Fieldsboro, NJ, died on Oct. 24, 2011. Born in Chester, SC, Mrs. Glenn moved to New Jersey in 1953 and had lived in Fieldsboro for the past 53 years. She was educated in the Chester, SC, school district. She worked at the Towne Laundry, Bordentown, and retired from the Burlington County Welfare Board, Mount Holly. Annie was an active member and officer of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, Bordentown, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Glenn; parents, Willie Miles Sr. and Mary Alice Walker-Miles; brothers, Willie Miles Jr. and Cleathern Miles, and sister, Viola Dye. She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Glenn and Rev. L. Pearl Patillo; two nephews reared as their sons, Theodore R. Dye (Boon) and James E. Glenn Sr. (Tomoe); 12 grandchildren, Stephen and Tara Patillo, Paul Porter, Danyrea Dye-Joseph (Quinton) and Deprise Dye; James Jr. and Jennifer Glenn; five great-grandchildren, and siblings, brothers, Harold Miles, Andy Buris and Oscar Buris; sisters, Cassie McClurkin, Mary Murphy and Mamie McCoy; in-laws, Wilbert Glenn, Madeline and Cubie Miles and Jessie Morris, and a host of other relatives and friends. There will be calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2011 at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, 36 E. Burlington St. Bordentown, NJ 08505. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Shiloh Baptist Church 104-1/2 Elizabeth St., Bordentown, NJ. 08505. Calling hour will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Rev. Joseph Robinson Jr. will officiate. Interment is in Bordentown Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Hughes Funeral Home.
