Davis, Jr. died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at her home. She was born in Royston, GA and was the daughter of the late Julian and Maude Hill Palmer. Mrs. Davis was a former employee of Riegel Textiles and a member, of the Waterloo United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, choir member, Women's Group member and former Church Secretary. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Bob Bradford of Waterloo; two sisters, Mary Palmer of Ware Shoals and Betty Perry of Virginia Beach, VA; a brother, George Palmer of Apopka, FL and a grandson, Jacob Bradford of Waterloo, a special nephew, Curt Brown and niece, Rhonda Pulley. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in the Waterloo United Methodist Church with interment in the Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be made to the Waterloo United Methodist Church, Hwy. 221, Waterloo, SC. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Lori Bradford, 9410 Hwy. 221 S., Waterloo. The church choir will be the honorary escort.
