Willie Mae Stonom-Robinson, 54, Loomis Trail, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Saturday, July 15, 2006, at home, with her family and loved ones at her side. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 22, at Hope Fellowship Church, Daytona Beach, with the Bishop Derrick T. Triplett officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, White Street. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Friday, July 21) and tomorrow (Saturday, July 22) from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at the church. Family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Willie Mae Stonom-Robinson was born in Plant City, Fla., on August 23, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Henry Stonom and Alline Washington Stonom. Willie Mae was a 1965 graduate of Campbell Street High School and attended Daytona Beach Community College. She was employed by Volusia County School Board as a teacher's assistant at Westside Elementary School. She also worked as a recreational leader at the PAL Center. Willie Mae was a member of Hope Fellowship Church where she attended faithfully until her illness and was a member of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, Breece; three sons, Darrell Shavers and Leon Leggette, III, Daytona Beach, Breece (Norma) Robinson, Jr., Tarpon Springs, Fla.; six daughters, Erika Sipp, Wanda Robinson, Monica Robinson, La-She Frazier, and Beatrice Robinson, all of Daytona Beach, and Doreece Robinson, Miami; four grandchildren, Lacey Neal, Nicolas Gearing, Le'Ontashia Leggette and Jeremiah Murphy, all of Daytona Beach; one brother, Willie Owens, Gainesville; two sisters, Aldine Stonom and Beulah Washington-Wynn, both of Daytona Beach; father & mother-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Benjamin Robinson; seven brothers-in-law, Bruce (Shirley) Robinson, Ben Robinson, Gary (Gloria) Robinson, and Daryl Robinson, all of Daytona Beach, Gary (Beverly) Cooper, Jacksonville, Jimmy Cooper, Casselberry, and Dexter (Sharon) Cooper, Brandon, Fla.; seven sisters-in-law, Shirley Bell, Zandrell Adams, Peggy Candiate, and Pam (Valpo) Hogg, all of Daytona Beach, Cheryl (Harvey) Smart, Hollywood, Bennye Gail Jackson, Portland, Oregon, Linda McClinon, Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of other relatives, grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.
