Willie Lee Williams, 89, died Jan. 1, 2008, at Laurel Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Thomaston, Ga., and lived in Fort Pierce for 55 years, coming from Georgia. She was a member of Garden City Church of Christ, Fort Pierce. Survivors include her son, Harvey King Jr. of Thomaston, Ga.; daughter, Virginia Ross of Columbia, S.C.; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, J.B. Matthews; and sisters, Claudy Matthews and Willie Mae Ward. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Jan. 4 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 5 at Gardens City Church of Christ, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
