Barnes, Virginia M. ALBANY With great sadness, the family of Virginia M. "Dolly" Barnes, 81, announces her passing at St. Peter's Hospital on Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Born in Albany, Virginia was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie Massie Sciotti. She was prede-ceased by her husband of 53 years, Raymond C. Barnes; her brother, Benny Sciotti and her sister, Christine O'Connell. Virginia was a 1949 graduate of Philip Schuyler High School and was a homemaker for many years prior to working for Hartford Insurance Company. She retired in the late 1980's, ready to travel, play bridge, and root for her favorite sports team, the NY Yankees. One of her happiest moments was when she became a grandmother. Virginia leaves behind her loving children, Charles "Chuck" Barnes of Liverpool, N.Y., Jane Casale and her husband Mark of Latham and her cherished grandson, Danny Casale, who was her pride and joy. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Murphy and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, Funeral services will be held Monday, January 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Sunday, January 6, 2013 from 3-6 p.m. Interment will be in the Gerald B.H.
