-> Viola O. "Granny" Jackson, 94, died December 23, 2004, under the care of Hospice of Savannah. She was born November 8, 1910 in Jefferson County, Wrens GA. She moved to Savannah in 1944 and joined Tremont Temple Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. J. M. Benton. She leaves to cherish her memories, three children, Walter L. (Rita) Jackson of Guyton GA, Marvin (Judy) Jackson of Decatur GA, Betty J. (Earl) Perry; one step-daughter, Annie Suggs of Columbia SC; seven grandchildren, eight great -grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and Friends. In lieu of flowers send donations to Tremont Temple Building Fund / Sunday School.
