MCCAFFREY, Thomas Peter January 18, 1933 – December 29, 2016Thomas McCaffrey, beloved husband of Lois, passed away in Sun City, West Arizona on December 29, 2016. Tom was born in Star City, Saskatchewan and raised in Daysland, Alberta. He later attended the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary. Tom had multiple business career opportunities before forming his own companies, Jofram Enterprises and Canadian Exhibition Management of which he was C.E.O. for 42 years and 20 years respectively. Tom lived in both Calgary and Edmonton and was well known in the Canadian and international business communities. Tom is survived by his wife Lois of Sherwood Park; daughter Linda and sons Bill (Janice), Don (Anne), and Tom Jr. (Nicki), all of Calgary, and Doug (Danielle) of St. Albert; sister Bonnie Gaetz and brother Jim both of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Margaret and Jack; brothers Ed, Dick and John; sisters Mary, Leona, and Margaret; daughter-in-law Barbara Fowlow; and close family friend Patricia McCaffrey (mother of his children). A memorial mass will be held at St. Gerard''s Catholic Church in Calgary on January 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada.
