CROPWELL- Funeral service for Susan Johnson Parker, 64, will be Thursday, November 7, 2013 11:00am at First Baptist Church, Pell City. Burial was in Valley Hill Cemetery. She passed away November 4, 2013. She was preceded in death by parents, Thomas R. & Catherine Johnson. Member of First Baptist Church in Pell City. 1967 Graduate of Pell City High School. Member of the Monday & Thursday night Bridge Club. Worked at UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center for 38 years. She is survived by husband, Darrell Parker; son, Richard Jason Callahan; 3 daughters, Andgela Callahan (Richard) Minor, Daria Parker (Stephen) Wilson, Tara Parker (Derril) Strickland; brother, Thomas Raymond (Jimmie Sue) Johnson, Jr.; sister, Jill Johnson (Daniel) Abbott; 7 grandchildren, Bradley Parker Callahan, Bailey Christian Watkins, Olivia Katherine Minor, Grant Sterling Wilson, Jade Barclay Wilson, Lauren Grace Wilson, Adyson Claire Minor. Pallbearers will be Richard Minor, Derril Strickland, Jr., Stephen Wilson, Daniel Abbott, Mitch Alverson, Byron Corina, Robert Minor, Dr. Wade Alverson, Craig Alverson, Jud Alverson. Honorary pallbearers will be Bradley Parker Callahan, Bailey Christian Watkins, Grant Sterling Wilson, Johnson Hayes Dooley, Bennett Pate Hogan, Jr. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Kilgroe Funeral Home.
