Sue James Brock MARIANNA - Sue James Brock, 54, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006. The service will be at 3 p.m. CST Friday at First Assembly of God Church of Marianna, with burial at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The Revs. Stephen Potter and Jack Howell will officiate. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. CST today at James & Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel (850- 482-2332).Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 4440 Lafayette St., Suite C, Marianna, FL 32446. She was born in Great Lakes, Ill., while her father was stationed there in the Navy. She grew up in Marianna, was a graduate of Marianna High School and attended Chipola Junior College.She was of the Pentecostal faith. She worked the majority of her life for James & James Funeral Homes and then became devoted to working with children, beginning at Dee's Earth Angels and most recently as a paraprofessional at Golson Elementary School. Survivors include three sons, Jason Carter (and wife Angie) of Greenwood, Shannon Carter (and wife Jinny) of Dellwood and Wayne Brock (and wife Sheila) of Dothan, Ala.; her father, Leland James (and wife Lanet) of Marianna; a brother, Steve James of Clearwater; a stepbrother, Colin Miles of Marianna; two sisters, Brenda Gibson (and husband Allan) of Marianna and Sadie James of St. Augustine; a sister-in-law, Cindy James of Marianna; an aunt, Floyce Baxter (and husband Willie Paul) of Marianna; five grandchildren, Kaelyn Reeves, Amenda Brock, Trenton Carter, Savana Carter and Rayleigh Carter; and several nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary James, and stepmother, Joyce James.
