NORTHPORT Stella Mae Parker, age 86, of Northport, died May 12, 2010, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Pate Cemetery with Rev. Rick Bradley officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William Parker; her parents, Henry and Etta Kelly; her sisters, Mamie Jones and Jeanette McDaniel; and her brothers, Jessie Kelly, Grady Kelly, and Troy Kelly.Survivors include her son, Wayne Parker (Linda); her daughters, Jo Parker, Glenda Johnson, and Jane Strickland; her sisters, Dean Cloudus and Geneva Pate; her brothers, Dempsey Kelly (Lynda) and Vester Kelly; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.Pallbearers will be Don Kelly, Olin Kelly, Chace Kelly, Chestor Cloudus, Revis Guy, and Duell Guy.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ari Pandy and nurses and staff of Hospice of West Alabama.Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetbrown-funeral.com.
