She graduated from Nurse's school in 1966 and maintained her nursing licenses to practice in four states during her career. She was an established poet and was known in the "Who's Who in Poetry" book of 1986; and had poems printed in the "Great Poems of Our Time" book published in 1993 and the "Vines of Victory" book published in 2001.She is preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband, Wilbert Rex Bullock.Ree is survived by her husband, James Earl Parker, Sr.; one son and daughter-in-law, Hiram Jeffrey and Dolly Bullock, Sr.; one grandchild, Jessica Ree Bullock; and two great-grandchildren, Payton Pait and Gabriel Cochran. She is also survived by two sisters, Greta Rector and Derry Grant; one brother, Minzor Chadwick; three step-children, James E. Parker Jr., Deborah A. Broxson, Janice Honeycutt; four step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.Visitation was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2014, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, Florida.Funeral Services will be held today at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel, with Rev.
