Sara Denney Williams, 86, died June 10, 2010, at the Royal Palm Healthcare & Rehab Center. She was born in Wadley, Ala., and lived in Vero Beach since 1980, coming from Brevard, N.C. She graduated from Alabama College for Women â€Â" now the University of Montevallo â€Â" in Montevallo, Ala., with degrees in business administration and Spanish. She worked for the United Nations in London and the U.S. government in Washington, D.C.; Atlanta; Orlando; and Birmingham, Ala. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herndon F. Williams. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach, P.O. Box 644, Vero Beach, FL 32961. Services: A life celebration service will be at 3 p.m. June 15 at the Arbors at The Lakes at Pointe West, Vero Beach. Arrangements are by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
