MESQUITE, Nev. -- Russell AlbertMcKenzie, a Mesquite resident who was a Vietnam War veteran, died Monday, Oct. 3. He was 60.He was born in Brockton, Mass., Feb. 10, 1945, son of the late Murray and Ella McKenzie. He grew up in Randolph, Mass., and graduated from Randolph High School.Mr. McKenzie served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.He resided in Mesquite for the past four years. He previously lived in Colorado for 32 years, including Aspen and Carbondale.He is survived by a son, Vance McKenzie of Las Vegas; his brothers and sisters and their spouses, William and Nancy McKenzie of Woody Creek, Colo., Paul and Marie McKenzie of Randolph, Mass., Walter and Thomasina McKenzie of Chelmsford, Patricia and Paul Callanan of Hampstead, N.H., Arlene and Paul McNulty of Belmont, Mass., and Daniel and Judy McKenzie of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 22 nieces and nephews; and 45 great-nieces and great-nephews. He also leaves his close friends at Mesquite Ace Hardware and Mesquite Elks Lodge 2811.
