He was born August 8, 1944 in Rochester, NY to Charles and Vivian Granger. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marilyn Granger; brothers, Charles Granger of Elmira, Allan (Joan) Granger of Horseheads, NY; sisters, Bonnie Curtis of Bradenton, FL, Janice Church of Bernards Bay, NY; children, Allan Granger of Elmira, Michael Granger of Van Etten, NY, Theresa (Gregory) Matkosky of Elmira, Mary (Eric) Anset of Hockessin, DE; grandsons, Matthew Matkosky, Cameron Matkosky, Lexas Granger, Jonathan Granger, William Anest and Joseph Anset; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends, Paul and "Boots" Hess of Horseheads, NY. He was predeceased by his father, Charles Granger and his mother, Vivian (Campbell) Granger; step father, Frank Thayer; brothers, William Owens, Richard Granger and David Granger; sisters, Jacqueline Paul and Margaret Mariano. He was a retired Union Roofer who worked many years for Evans Roofing Company. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing with his Canadian friends. At Roger's request there will be no funeral.
