-->Robert W. Davis SPARTANBURG, SC-- Robert Wilson Davis, 67, of 160 Carol Lane, died Sunday, November 11, 2007, at Laurens County Hospital. Born August 26, 1940, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Mamie Cooksey Davis of Spartanburg and the late Claude L. Davis, Sr. He was the retired owner of D R Construction, a member of White Stone United Methodist Church, a Shriner, and a member of Converse Masonic Lodge #343. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife of 47 years, Nancy Moore Davis; a son, R. Bryan Davis and his wife Tammy of Cowpens; two daughters, Lynn Davis Keller and her husband Tracy of Cannons Campground, and J. Robin Davis and her husband Ashley of Bluffton; five granddaughters, Jamie Davis of Charlotte, NC, Jessie Davis of Spartanburg, Anna Davis of Cowpens, Bella Davis of Bluffton, and Lydia Keller of Cannons Campground; three grandsons, Davis Keller and Owen Keller of Cannons Campground, and Eli Davis of Bluffton; and two brothers, Johnny Davis of Spartanburg, and Claude L. Davis, Jr. of Cowpens. Visitation will be 1-2:30 PM Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens conducted by the Rev. Patricia McCain. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
