Robert J. Smith, 72, of Cortlandt Manor died at H.V.H.C. on August 12, 2001. He was a retired maintenance man at General Motors, Tarrytown, for 31 years. He retired in 1990. He is survived by his wife Fannie, a son Steven, son and daughter-in-law Robert G. and Michelle Smith, daughter Mary Smith, daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Glen Gilligan, two brothers, William and Russell Smith, a sister Rosemary Smith and four grandchildren, Kayla and Jessica Golden, Samantha Smith and Austin Gilligan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 8:30 pm Wednesday at the E.O. CURRY FUNERAL HOME, 313 North James Street, Peekskill, where friends may call on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
