Robert Gilbert Morin March 12, 1936 - June 3, 2012 DANIELSON - Robert "Bob"Gilbert Morin, age 76, died Sunday at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam. He was born in Putnam on March 12, 1936, son of the late Eugene and Mary Ange (Chenail) Morin. He was married for 47 years to Priscilla (Wheeler) Morin; they were married on November 21, 1964. Robert served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as Plant Operations Director at Norwichtown Rehab & Care Center in Norwich and had been in partnership for 37 years with his brother at Morin Brothers Builders. He was a flight instructor at Danielson Aviation. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter, Lynn (Morin) Chisler and husband Ernie of South Killingly; son, Dean Morin of South Killingly; sister, Marlene Adams of Danielson and grandchildren, Caitlin, Carissa and Corey Hebert. He was predeceased by his brother, Earl Morin. Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Tillinghast Funeral Home, 433 Main Street, Danielson is in charge of arrangements.
