PAUL, Robert Clifford - In loving memory of Robert Paul, 89 years of Sudbury who passed away Friday, July 20th, 2007 at St. Joseph's Health Center. He was born in Cache Bay and married Pirkko (Wilson) in 1949 in Sudbury. Robert came to Sudbury in 1938 from Cache Bay. A proud Canadian he served overseas during WWII with the Canadian Army and he was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He had been a Cub Master with the local scouting movement for 6 yrs. Robert had worked at the CPR for 42 1/2 years retiring as the supervisor of accounting in 1981. A man of faith he belonged to St. Paul's United Church. He enjoyed blueberry and cranberry picking, square dancing, camping and hunting. Robert will be remembered as a strong willed and honest person who was dedicated to his loving family. Beloved husband of Pirkko (Wilson) Paul of Sudbury. Loving father of Glenn (wife Cyndy) of Sudbury, Doug (friend Tasha) of North Bay. Cherished grandfather of Matt. Dear son of James and MaryAnne (Jessup) Paul predeceased. Dear brother of Kenneth of Oshawa and the late Mary Mills, Art, Stanley and James Paul all predeceased. Sadly missed by loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Wednesday, July 25th, 2007 at 11:30 AM. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium.
