CATHCART, Robert Murray December 24, 1929-November 15, 2007 It is with our deepest sadness and sorrow for the loss of our husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, and brother, Robert "Bob" Cathcart passed away after a brief and courageous battle with cancer at 77 years of age. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Gwen of 56 years; four daughters, Diane (Jim) Yakemchuk, Jo-Ann (Bill) Musgreave, Deb (Ron) LaFranchise and Barb (Reg) Dosser all from the Edmonton area; eight grandchildren, Tammy, Laury James, Danielle (Ryan) Allan, Hayley, Larissa (Paul), Craig, Travis and Cody; seven great-granddaughters, Kristin, Jennifer, Ashleigh, Tara, Lindsay, Karyn and Mackenzie; two brothers, Bill and Don (Sybil), one sister, Barbara (Dennis) all from B.C.; three sisters-in law, from B.C., Leora, Shirley (Bill) and Gretta (John); two brothers-in-law, from Edmonton, Les (Rose) Towle and Don Towle; also survived by extended relatives, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends. We would sincerely like to extend our thanks to Dr. Chana, all the nurses, staff and volunteers at the Mel Miller Hospice-9Y for the loving, compassionate care and support that was extended to Dad and his family. A Celebration of Bob's life will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to Mel Miller Hospice Centre-9Y, 11111-Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta T5K 0L4.
