He was a employed by the city of Savannah, and Hillcrest-Abbey cemetery East before his illness. Survivors: wife, Helen Edwards; son, Rodney Edwards; three brothers, Ernest, Jesse, and James Edwards; two sisters, Annie Mae Kelly and Joyce Ann Williams, nieces nephews, and other relatives.
