SYLACAUGA - Funeral service for Ruth Virginia Coleman, 85, will be Saturday, January 7, 2012, 2 p.m. at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Rev. John Vogel officiating. Burial will be in Childersburg Cemetery. Mrs. Coleman passed away January 5, 2012 at Goodwater Nursing Home. She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, John W. "JW" Coleman of Sylacauga; son, John F. Coleman and wife Elizabeth of Cullman; daughter, Sharon Diane Cook and husband Joel of Sylacauga; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Jeff Hosey, Matt Coleman, Jason Cook, Joseph Cook, Jeremy Cook, Josh Horton, and Jamey Cook.
