THOMPSON, Phyllis Joan Rose "Babs"1927 – 2014On June 13, 2014 Phyllis Joan Rose Thompson "Babs" passed away peacefully with her family at her side.Babs leaves behind to mourn her loss her children: Lance Thompson (Rosann), Duane Thompson (Nellie), Tom Clague (Laurie), Joan Reid (Gordon), Darlene Grant (Brian) and Ed Clague (Pat) as well as her brother Ed Camplin (Bev). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren as well as many nephews and nieces. Babs was predeceased by her first husband John Clague in 1972 and husband Edgar Thompson in 2007, parents Ted and Connie Camplin, her brother Bill Camplin and her sisters Mary Mathewson, Ruth Vaughan, Audrey Camplin and Laurie Camplin.A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 from 7 – 9 p.m. at Parkland Funeral Chapel 3502 – 44 Avenue, Stony Plain. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at St John's Anglican Church, Onoway, AB.
