->FAIRFIELD -- Pauline W. Brown, longtime resident of Fairfield, passed away peacefully following a long illness on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, with her family by her side. She was born in Lower Hainesville, New Brunswick, on Aug. 17, 1925, the daughter of the late Ranceford N. and Mildred H. (Dickey) Webb. Pauline attended schools in Fairfield, graduating from Lawrence High School. She enjoyed meeting with some of her classmates for breakfast over the years. She was a very dedicated employee with Keyes Fibre Co. and retired with 42 years of service. Pauline previously attended the Church of the Nazarene in Fairfield. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and aunt and was always held in very high esteem. Some of her enjoyments included her collectibles, eating out with family and friends, and traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Manford and Bradford Webb.Pauline will be sadly missed by her daughter, Linda Haskell and her husband, Albert of West Gardiner; her grandchildren, Michael S. Haskell and his wife, Ronda, of West Gardiner and Tavia A. Lunt and her husband, Bradlee, of Winslow; her great-grandchildren, Dylan and Abigail Haskell and Larsson, Garrett, Ammelia, and Gabriella Lunt; as well as several very special nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, at Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, 107 Main St. in Fairfield.
