ROSS, PATRICIA THERESA - The death of Mrs. Patricia Theresa Ross, wife of the late George Ross, of the Loch Lomond Villa Nursing Home occurred on Sunday February 12, 2006. Born 1920 in Clover Valley, Loch Lomond she was the daughter of the late William Henry and Jetta (Springer) Smith. Patricia was an Honor Graduate of Saint John High School and a Graduate of Saint John General School of Nursing in 1942. She was a life member of Saint John General Hospital Alumnae, Pianist and organist for 25 years; she was one of five organists honored by Saint John Centre Royal Canadian College of Organist in 2001. An Associate member of Saint John Centre Royal Canadian College of Organists, Member of Spruce Lake Women's Institute, Life Member of NB Women's Institute where she received 50 year membership pin. She was also a member of Silver Links Seniors, Simonds Lions Seniors, Germain Street Baptist Church, and Mabel Poole Women's Missionary Society Germain Street Baptist Church, Dominion Life member of Women's Missionary Societies of Canada. She is survived by her children Judith Smith (Douglas), David (Susan), Daryl (Brenda), Arthur (Ruth) and Steven (Kim); grandchildren: Christopher Smith, Andrew Smith, Jonathan Ross, Martha Ross, Jennifer Knox (Darren), Jamie Ross, Robert Ross, Bradley Ross, Ashley Ross, Joshua Ross, Kyle Robinson, Kristina Robinson and Ryan Spicer; great grandchildren Cassidy, Mallory, Selena and Anthony; sister Norma Scott of Dartmouth; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by brother Clifford Smith and sister Ruth Bernice Thompson. Following cremation, Visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Wednesday February 15, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Germain Street Baptist Church on Thursday February 16, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
