MORRIS Patricia (nee Farley), 84, of Pompton Lakes on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Morristown Memorial Hospital surrounded by beloved family members. Born in Newark, she lived in Maplewood, NJ, moved to Pompton Lakes in 1952 where, together with her husband, Joseph, she raised five children. An active member of the community, she was a parishioner at St. Mary's Church, and before retiring in 1992, worked as an attendance secretary in Pompton Lakes High School and as an attendance officer for the Pompton Lakes School District. In recent years, she took part in the St. Mary's Seniors and served on the trip committee. A dancer and singer, her warmth and her energetic spirit encircled family and friends alike. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Morris, devoted mother of daughter, Susan Nagler and her husband, Harvey of Wayne, son, Stephen and his wife, Carolyn of San Jose, CA, son, Paul and his wife, Rosemary of Penns Grove, son, Laurence and his wife, the late Barbara Usinowicz Morris of West Milford, son, Michael and his wife, Debra of Oak Ridge; adoring "Mommom" to David Nagler, Michelle Nagler, Marisa Valverde, Christopher Morris, Daniel Morris, Craig Morris, Annalisa Morris, and great-grandson, Jonathan Morris Nagler Cook; dear sister of Cecilia Farley of Maplewood, and Jane Kelley of Surf City, NJ, and Sun City, FL, and the late Dr. Eugene Farley. Funeral from the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, 10:30 AM, Monday. Funeral Mass 11 AM at St. Mary's Church, Pompton Lakes, NJ.
