Patricia Ann Simmons -Darien- Patricia "Patti" Ann Martin Simmons, 47, of Darien, Georgia, and formerly of Savannah, Georgia, died Tuesday evening, March 6, 2007, at her home. Born in Orleans, France, she was a daughter of Robert Cordson Martin and the late Elizabeth Ann Brock Martin. Patti was of the Catholic faith and was a great cook and loving mom. She was a 1979 graduate of Pathway High School in Savannah and was a secretary for Todd Grant Elementary School in Darien. Patti was a former medical assistant in Savannah. Surviving are four sons, M. Andrew Stembridge of Bethlehem, Georgia, Matthew Stembridge of Darien, Georgia, and Dewey Simmons and Brock Simmons, both of Brunswick, Georgia; her father and step-mother, Robert C. and Fran Martin of Tybee Island, Georgia; one sister, Beth Patton and her husband, Jeff, of Bethlehem, Georgia; three nieces and two nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Friday evening at Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Avenue. Funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the chapel of Gamble Funeral Service conducted by The Reverend Dr. Samuel W. Watkins. Interment will be in the Catholic Cemetery.
