In Remembrance/In MemoriamPamela Mann Morris previously of Fort Myers passed away at her home in Floral City, Florida on Monday, December 4, 2006. Pam was born on January 25, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to Paula (P.J.) and John Mann. Pam's love for roller skating and the instruction of her mother, took her too many different levels and locations in the United States for competitions'. She won many individual awards and also won National Roller Dance in 1960. She was a graduate of Bishop Verot class of 1966.Pam and her husband, Gene, moved to Largo and owned and operated Rainbow Rollerland . They moved to Brooksville had a second skating rink, Rainbow Rollerland II for 18 years. After retiring from the skating rink business she was a volunteer with the Citrus Memorial Health System Auxiliary.Pam was a member of the Red Hat Society.Pam was preceded in death by her father John Mann, August 28, 2004.Pam is survived by her husband H. Eugene "Gene" Morris of 29 years; her mother Paula "P J" Mann of Floral City, one son John Morris of Largo; eight daughters, Kimberly Hood of Covington, Ga, Heather Collins of North Fort Myers, Yvette Andersen and Melissa Jacobs both of Fort Myers; Kenilayne, Sarajeanne and Ashlyn Morris of Ocala and Annie Grace Morris of Floral City. Her brother Keith (Judy) Mann of Sarasota, 16 grandchildren; and two nieces Mercedes and Alexandra Mann.There will be a Celebration of Life service in January 2007.In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Citrus County in the name of Pamela Morris.
