Nancy Cooke Freeman, 46, of 65 Century Circle, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2007, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of Frances Louise Chambers Vaughn and the late John Henry Vaughn. Mrs. Freeman was a former employee of Homelite Plant and Honeywell Inc., both of Greer, and was of the Episcopal faith.Surviving are her husband, Rodney Scott Freeman; daughter, Wendy Phares, and husband Travis; brothers, William Vaughn and Donnie Vaughn; sister, Peggy Lister; three grandchildren, Casie Hope Phares, Gabriel Allen Phares, and Sady Cheyenne Phares; and mother-in-law, Annette McGathy. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel, with private burial.The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m., at The Howze Mortuary.The family will be at 613 Bridwell Road, Travelers Rest.The Howze Mortuary, Travelers Rest, is in charge of arrangements; 834-8051
