Nancy was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy; father, Edward; brother, Charles; and three sisters, Barbara, Dorothy "Jane", Mary "Molly".She is survived her brother, Robert "Bob" Buckland (wife and dear friend Betty); son, Daniel Fredericks (wife Joni); daughters, Sue-Ann Fredericks and Mickey Smith; five grandchildren, Rebekah Derden (husband Steve), Dianna Grow (husband Steve), Melissa Fredericks, Curtis Fredericks, Colton Fredericks; and two great grandchild-ren, Tyler and Kaylee Derden.Nancy was a US Navy veteran where she worked in St Albens hospital NY in nursing. Nancy worked locally for Sears in Rockledge/Merritt Island for 30 years. She was a dedicated Jehovah's Witness for the past 42 years and remained loyal and faithful until her death.She was known in the community for her "swimming lessons". She felt like no child in Florida should not know how to swim. She was a school volunteer, an Apple Core volunteer, teaching ESL, and was a school nurse for many years.Nancy has many nieces and nephews who she adored and many in the community though not blood related, called her gramma Nancy or mom. She had many very close friends who she cherished.Services to be held at the Holiday Inn Express, 301 Tucker Lane, Cocoa on Wednesday, August 29th at 1 pm. Refreshments following immediately after. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to William Childs Hospice House, Palm Bay.
