Nancy Elaine Rogers, age 55 of Jacksonville, died August 27, 2001 at St. Vincents Medical Center in Jacksonville, Mrs. Rogers was born in Jacksonville, FL and lived there all her life. She worked at Winn-Dixie Market Place. Her parents are the late Lester Ralph Eddins, Sr. and Ada Frances Haley Eddins. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Charles A. Rogers; daughter, Melanie (Thomas) Rice of Lawtey, FL and son, Charles D. (Dee) Rogers of Jacksonville, FL and Roy (Melanie) Rogers of Waycross, GA; 7 sisters, Mary Mattox, Clara Boscia, Violet Mattox, Helen Highsmith, Carolyn Eddins, Janice Hines and Alice Royal; 4 brothers, Rev. Ralph Eddins, Jr. Richard Eddins, Raymond Eddins and Clark Eddins. Also , five grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. The family will receive friends at GREEN PINE FUNERAL HOME, 3407 Green Pine Road, Yulee, FL 904/261-0876, Wed. Aug. 29, 2001 from 6 to 8PM. Funeral Services will be held Thurs. Aug. 30, 2001 at 11:00AM at DUVAL STATION BAPTIST CHURCH, 13734 Lyle Rd., Jax., FL with Rev. Steve McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in GREEN PINE CEMETERY, Yulee, FL.
