Nancy C. Rogers, 70, died Jan. 15, 2009, at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart. She was born in Glen Ridge, N.J., and lived in Hobe Sound since 1990, coming from Rumson, N.J. She was a retired registered nurse and worked in various fields of nursing, including home health care. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Lawrence C. Rogers of Hobe Sound; daughter, Mary Challenger Field of Stuart; son, John Challenger of Oceanport, N.J.; stepdaughters, Sandra Raia of Bloomfield, N.J.; stepsons, Robert Rogers of Bricktown, N.J., Lawrence Rogers Jr. of Monmouth Beach, N.J., Michael Rogers of Monmouth Beach, N.J., and Kevin Rogers of Eugene, Ore.; and 10 grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. SERVICES: Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 19 at Forest Hills Young & Prill Chapel in Stuart with services at 4 p.m. with hospice Chaplain Edward Skibe officiating. Additional services will be at Thompson Memorial Home in Red Bank, N.J., followed by burial in Fair View Cemetery in Red Bank. A guest book may be signed at www.youngandprill.com.
