Sara Frances Robinson, 74, of Springfield, Fla., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, in her home. She was born July 11, 1934, in Towncreek, Ala. She was a member of Lynn Haven United Methodist Church, the Military Retiree Widows and the Jolly Workers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Robinson; parents; father-in-law; mother-in-law; brother-in-law; and two sisters. She is survived by five children, Mr. and Mrs. James (Kathy) McQuagge, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Douglas (Linda) Robinson, Mr. and Mrs. John (Jan) Nolan, David Robinson and fiancée, Kathi Sinclair, and Mr. and Mrs. Casey (Jennifer) Speigner; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Roscoe Black Jr.; sisters-in-law, Moira Black, Dorothy Nell Cole, Eva Grace Billingsley and Susie Williams; brother-in-law, John (Sandy) Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at noon today, Nov. 1, 2008, in the Wilson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jim Luther officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Prior to services, the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon today at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Bryan Robinson, Joseph Robinson, Jimmy Baxter, Mike Calsam, Matt Peairs and Greg McQuagge. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Bay County Council on Aging or the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church Building Fund in memory of Frances Robinson.
