Mildred Louise "Granny" Harris - SAVANNAH - Mildred Louise "Granny" Harris, 93, of Savannah, GA passed away Monday October 22, 2007. She was born in Williamson, N.C. and lived most of her life in Savannah. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and had worked for Levy's Department Store (later named Moss Brothers) for 35 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus A. Harris, Sr.; daughter, Rebecca Harris Fink; grandson, Steven Fink and parents, James Samuel Jones and Charlotte Andrews Jones. She is survived by one son, R. Arthur Harris, Jr. (Deborah) of Roswell, GA; one daughter, Charlotte Kennedy Smith (John C.) of Savannah, GA; one son-in-law, Wayne Fink (Diane) of California; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Visitation: 6 - 8 pm Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at Fairhaven Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday October 25, 2007 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Meguiar and Rev. Matt Walton officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
