Mary Brown Swett, 70, wife of Gene Swett passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at Palmetto Baptist Health Easley.Born in McCormick County, she was a daughter of the late Press and EmmaLou Brown and attended Pathway Church in Powdersville.Survivors in addition to her husband are two sons, Mark (Janet) Swett of Easley and David (Vickie) Swett of Pickens; a daughter, Kim (Mike) McGuire of Easley; four grandsons, Mical Swett, Tony Swett, Chris Swett and Lane Swett; one granddaughter, Hannah McGuire; and one great-granddaughter, Rylie Swett; four sisters, Mildred Mayson, Lib Mayson, Betty Jo Welch, EmmaLou Holiman; and two brothers, J. B. Brown and Ed Brown. She was predeceased by a son, Dr. Curtis Swett; and a granddaughter, Nikki Swett.Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2007, in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home. The visitation will begin at 1 p.m. prior to the service.
