ANDERSON-Mary Rose Cook ( Osaw Piyesiw) was taken by the Lord October 3, 2005 at the age of 47. Predeceased by her Grandparents Albert and Helen Cyr, Mary and Mike Longman, grandson Christian Geddes and first husband Vern Kequahtooway. Mary is survived by her husband Kelly, her children, Jolene (Robin), Christopher, Amanda (Rick), Glen, Mary (Harold), Mike and Kelly Jr., eleven grandchildren, parents Frank and Lucy Cyr, two sisters, seven brothers and numerous relatives and inlaws, including friends at Women of the Dawn, where she worked for eleven years with women and their families tirelessly. Mary was a friend to all her co-workers, Ivy Kennedy, Charlene Crevier, Sonya Scales, Linda Zimmer, Elder Sarah Gordon and her very special friend Gloria Kaiswatum. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 between 79 P.M. in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Ave. The Wake will take place on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at 5:00 P.M. in the George Gordon Gym, Gordon First Nation. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gordon Gym, with William Pinacie, officiating. Burial to follow in the Longman Cemetery, Gordon First Nation.
