Mary R Fitzgerald MILTON â€" Fitzgerald, Mary R. (Sullivan) Fitzgerald, age 70, passed away at her home in Milton on Monday, Oct. 8, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Fitzgerald was born in Boston and had been a Milton resident for the past 55 years. She was a graduate of St. Gregory High School, Dorchester. Mrs. Fitzgerald was the owner and real estate broker of Fitzgerald Associates, Milton. She ran this business for over 20 years, retiring in 2000. She was active civically in Milton, serving as chairman and nine year member of the School Committee and past chairman and five year member of the Warrant Committee. She was a longtime Milton Town Meeting member, a former member of the School Building Committee as well as the Milton Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Fitzgerald was formerly a CCD Teacher and Eucharistic Minister at St. Elizabeth Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert M. Fitzgerald of Milton; her seven daughters, Mary Kelly and her husband Paul, Laurie Jensen, Arleen Bernardi and her husband Michael,all of Milton, Diane Mackenzie and her husband Donald of Weymouth, Amy Adams and her husband John, and Linda Fitzgerald, all of NH, and Jean Faust and her husband Paul of NY; her two sons, Joseph and his wife Toni and Thomas and his wife Sue, all of NH. Also survived by fifteen loving grandchildren and her three brothers, John J. of Sutton, Robert of FL and James Sullivan of Plymouth. She is the sister of the late Lorraine Sullivan. Funeral Mass Friday at St. Elizabeth Church, Milton, at 10 a.m.. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11 at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Milton Cemetery.
