<!-- FH = 91 --><!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->Tompkins, Mary Margaret,91, of Louisville, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at her residence with her loving family at her side.She was the former Margaret Donnelly, born in Louisville to the late Joseph S. and Myrtle May Toles Donnelly. She was a homemaker and charter member of St. Martha Catholic Church.Preceding her in death, other than her parents, was her husband, William E. Tompkins, Sr.; brothers, John, Joseph Jr., and William Donnelly; and a sister, Marie Brown.Survivors include her children, William E. Tompkins, Jr. (Barb), Thomas Tompkins (Mary), Larry Tompkins (Pam), Michael Tompkins, Gregory Tompkins (Linda), Phyllis Hess (Herman), Julie Kircher (Mark) and Jeana Banks (Michael); as well as twenty grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchild.Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, with burial to follow in Lebanon National Cemetery, Lebanon, KY. Visitation will be 2 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Hosparus of Louisville for the love and care shown their mother during this time.Donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville in her memory.
