Mary L. (Robinson) Mosley, age 82 years, of Lynnfield, formerly of Middleboro, died Tuesday morning, Jan. 28, 2014, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Saugus, May 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ellen (Corcoran) Robinson. Mary had worked several years at the Welchs Candy Factory in Cambridge, as well as the Hannah B.G. Shaw Home for the Aged, Middleboro, for several years. She was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. She will be warmheartedly remember as an independent and amazing women. She was a true matriarch, providing and scheduling family gatherings, which kept her family together at all costs. She enjoyed her doll collection, dining, music, her Christmass in Mount Washington, and her putt putts on Silver Lake in Tilton, N.H. Her talents included baking, and sharing all of her baked goods, and chair caning. She will always be fondly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and lover of life. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her children, John D. Mosley of Brockton, Carrie Braga of Middleboro, Patricia Costello of Lynnfield, Ellen Leonard of Onset, Mary L. Harper of Marblehead, Thomas J. Mosley of North Attleboro, Sheila A. Poudrier of Lakeville, Maureen E. Hossfeld of Bedford, NH, Barbara J. Evans of North Bennington, VT, Robert F. Mosley of Middleboro; 17 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was the last surviving sibling of the Robinson family. She was longtime companion of the late Donald Hamilton. Her extended family, Mary Keating, Donna Thompson both of Quincy, Carol Caterino of Newbury, Don Hamilton of Woburn, Claire Cram of Lexington, Ed Hamilton of Billerica, Helena Bucca of Hanover; four step-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Danny E. and Michael T. Mosley. She was the former wife of the late John D. Mosley. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, Feb 2., from 2-6 p.m. in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, Feb. 3 at 11 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St., Middleboro. Burial will follow at St. Marys Cemetery, Middleboro.
