Mary Scovil 1930-2013 The passing of Mary Scovil, age 83 of Hanwell, NB occurred peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2013 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Mathieson) Hood. Mary was a lifelong member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #4 Ladies Auxilliary. Survived by a son George Ernest Scovil of Brampton,ON; two daughters Kim Scott (Rick) of Hanwell, NB and Jane Scovil (Sandy) of Keswick Ridge,NB; 2 grandchildren Kelly Scott-Storey (Gerald) of Fredericton,NB, Andy Scott of Oromocto,NB; 2 great grandchildren Abby and Kate Storey of Fredericton,NB; a sister-in-law Gloria Hood of Nova Scotia; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers John and George; as well as a sister-in-law Phyllis. As per Mary’s request there will be no visitation or service. Following cremation a private interment will be held.
