Mary Mitchell Hood, 94, of Rolling Green Village, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004.Born in Laurens County, she was the daughter of the late James Warren and Emma Bagwell Mitchell.She worked for Southern Bell for more than 44 years.She was a member of Lee Road Baptist Church and the Alice Gibson Sunday School Class.She will be fondly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Jerry Howell of Greer; two granddaughters, Yvonne Ray and Carol Jo Vervaet; five great-grandchildren, Erin, Brad, and Kevin Ray, Kelly and Grace Vervaet.Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2004, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to the R.G.V.
