ORR, Mary ElisabethFebruary 1, 1946 – January 19, 2015Mary Orr lived a life full of love, friends and family. On January 19, 2015, she passed away peacefully at the age of 68 with her son and daughter by her side.One of five children born to Jack and Anne Murray in Kingston, Ontario, she will be remembered for her love of Coca-Cola, her husband, her children and her friends. She was often found preparing dinners or trays, volunteering, and helping others however she could. A woman who fostered life-long friendships and mothered all she knew, Mary will always be in our hearts and memories.Mary is survived by her daughter Tanya (Dale), son Dean, sister Maureen, brothers Michael and Ray (Bonnie), her grandchildren Kate and Grace and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased by her brother Tommy, and her heart beat a little slower when she lost her loving husband of 43 years, Doug, in 2012. It is fitting she is reunited with him.Many thanks to Dr. Kachope and the staff at the Misericordia hospital for all their efforts, support and care.A Liturgy of the Word and celebration of Mary's life will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015, at OLPH Parish, 13 Brower Dr., Sherwood Park, at 11:30 a.m., with a public viewing starting at 10:30 a.m.Interment will follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 52356 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
