JOHNSON, MARTHA 71Silver Springs - Martha Johnson, age 71, of Silver Springs, FL passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. She was born in Ocoee, FL on February 28, 1938. She met and married James Johnson. Together they raised five children. Martha lived most of her life in the Ocala area. She worked as a Nurses Aid and also as a Homemaker. Her hobbies included flower gardening, bingo and shopping. Martha was a Baptist. Her surviving family members include daughters Barbara Johns, Linda Taylor and Lisa Taylor all of Silver Springs; son Jimmy Johnson of Silver Springs; brother Billy Wright of Orlando; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband James Johnson and a son Larry Johnson. A memorial service will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 11:00am.
