Margaret-Elizabeth Jones, conjointe de Herman Jones, fille de Andrew et Jenny, mère de Sharon, est décédée le 12 avril 2013. Veuillez consulter son avis de décès ici:
MARGARET ELIZABETH JONES, 98 ROCK HILL, S.C. - Margaret Elizabeth Jones, fondly known as Peg, died peacefully April 12, 2013, at WillowBrooke Court, Park Pointe Village in Rock Hill , SC. Born in Lowellville, Ohio, in 1914, to the late Andrew and Jenny Kroeck, she would have celebrated her 99th birthday on June 19. She had one brother, the late Arthur Kroeck. Peg met her husband Herman Jones at Kent State University where she earned a teaching degree and taught 4th grade. Their early years of marriage were spent in the area of Austintown, Ohio. In 1951, they moved to Winter Haven, Florida, when Herm left teaching and served in the Technical Service Department at Brown Citrus Machinery Company for twenty-eight years. After living in Florida for nearly 50 years, Peg and Herm moved to South Carolina in 2000, to be near their only daughter Sharon Rawls and husband Ben of Lake Wylie. They were one of the first residents of Park Pointe Retirement Village, then known as Carolina Village. Herm died within six months of moving and PPV continued to be Peg's home for the next 13 years. Peg spent her life caring for her family and home. She enjoyed people and activities. She was ready to go somewhere or do something at the drop of a hat. She loved traveling, gardening, crafts, bridge, board games, plays, movies, and musical events. The little things in life made her happy: visits from family, letters and cards from friends, a bouquet of flowers, or just sitting outside enjoying the warmth of the sun, the beauty of flowering plants and puffy white clouds against the blue sky. Peg will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving family include grandchildren Derek Rawls of Atlanta, GA, Michelle Languedoc and husband Ken, and great grandchildren Emily and Matthew Languedoc of Jupiter, Florida. The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses, caregivers and staff of Park Pointe Village for the loving care given to Peg. A celebration of life service will be held at Park Pointe Village on April 27. Memorials may be made to ACTS Retirement Life Communities, Inc. with WillowBrooke Court Fund on the memo line and mailed to ACTS Retirement-Life Communities, Inc., P.O. Box 90, West Point , PA 19486 or to Hospice & Community Care, 2275 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. M. L. Ford & Sons of Clover is serving the family of Mrs. Jones. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.mlfordsons.com .
